Asian All-Stars for Africa is an eclectic ensemble of aspiring drummers and dancers from Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore who are groomed and handpicked by the triumvirate of African dance extraordinaire Rumiko Fujii (Japan), Asia’s most charismatic djembe player Hiroki Murai (Japan) and multi-percussionist Kelvin Kew (Singapore). The combination of the contagious percussion based African music with exciting West African dance choreography presented in uncompromising Asian spirit results in an uplifting spectacle that emanates the joy of drum and dance!
